URBAN EXPLORING - TB WARD

This was the first time in a long while I decided to do some urban exploring. The area we were in had more buildings then we had time to see. These rooms seemed to be used for doctors office's. By comparison to the TB Wards, it was much more inviting.

The TB Wards were very dark and cold once you entered the doorway. I cant imagine in the time of use that they were ever a place one would want to be committed to. Each of these large buildings took the shape of a capital (I) with only two main entrances on either side of the building. Clearly they didn't want people leaving.

I am not a believer in ghosts or haunted areas but I must say walking through these places can make you feel a bit uneasy.

There is a certain rush you get when exploring.  You never knew what was around the next corner and every sound you heard played all sorts of tricks on you!
The last building we decided to go into was possibly one of the most interesting for a few reasons. There was a long bridge that seemed wide enough for vehicles. I think the building may have been used for a lab or morgue. We went under the bridge to enter the building and the fence bordering the building had barbed wire turning into the building! What were they keeping in there?
We explored this building about as far as the first frame of that doorway up ahead when something happened. I was shooting video as my fellow explorer took the left flank of the room. I panned the camera from right to left and then back to the doorway when I stopped shooting video. At the same moment I saw something cross my path at the very end of the hallway. I got the attention of my friend and we got out of there real quick! When we got outside I told my friend that I thought it was just a dog - a "Ghost Dog"  but oddly it never looked at us. I would have imagined that it might have with the noise we were making.
We went on to look at one more building before the weather turned and we knew it was time to go.  It was a great experience and I cant wait to get back there to finish exploring.

When I got home I went through all my pictures and I was still so impressed with the place.  I really couldn't wait to see the videos. I watched them all and was still so excited about the experience. It wasn't until later that night when I was watching the videos on my computer that one video in particular had something strange about it!

When the video from the last building we entered ended, I realized that the last frame of video caught something...

It may be a real dog or a "Ghost Dog" but either way it was pretty scary!
